6Cro-Magnon ft. Roy Ayers "Midnight Magic"
Cro-Magnon is three piece band from Japan consist with drum, bass/guitar and keyboard. Those three musicians graduated Barkley University in Boston. They formed Jazz HipHop flavored band with MC Yamajin called Loop Junktion. After releasing two albums, Loop Junktion had broken up in 2004, and they went back to their origin by forming Cro-Magnon. They have worked with many talents such as Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Roy Ayers and so on. Their music style is various... House, Dub, HipHop, Soul, Funk and Reggae.

元Loop Junktionのメンバーでもあり、金子巧(key.)、大竹重利(ds/per.)、小菅剛(g./b.)の3人組が2004年にCro-Magnonを結成。ソウ ルを根にすえながら、Hip Hop、House、Funk、Reggae、Dubなどなど自由な音楽を展開、時代と結びついたジャンル分けのできないサウンドを提示しているグルー プ。2006年、フルアルバム"CRO-MAGNON"をリリースしたのに続き2007年、セカンドアルバム"Great Triangle"を発表。海外とのアーティストともコラボレーションも多々観られる。現在はJazzy Sportと契約している。
